Guardian of The Breadth

Locked away by your own mother, you find yourself trapped underground in your family's bunker. She claims it's for your safety, but as you hear her footsteps fade into the distance, you can't shake the feeling that something is wrong. Her voice echoes from the other side, and your only way out is to explore the confined space in which you've been locked.

Solve puzzles, uncover hidden clues, and piece together the secrets left behind by your ancestors to unravel the mystery behind your confinement. Will you be able to escape the dark that creeps from the outside?

About the project

Developed using Unity, this game has been made by a small group of students of the Design and Development of Video Games Bachelor's degree (UDG) as a University Project. All the assets that have been borrowed will be credited below.

The game's background story takes inspiration from the Myths of the Cherokee, a collection of Cherokee history and legends written by James Mooney. While we have drawn creative inspiration from these myths, we want to clarify that this game is not intended as an accurate or comprehensive representation of Cherokee culture. We are not experts in this area, and our goal is to respectfully engage with these stories in a fictional context. If you are interested in learning more, Mooney's book is available online for free.
